Suberb accommodation for 1 or 2 nights (you choose) staying at The Lodge, Kauri cliffs. Every suite offers it’s own private porch, very comfortable bedroom and sitting area with gas fireplace, walk-in wardrobe and spacious bathroom. The cottages are nestled on the edge of native forest overlooking the ocean and golf course. It really is somewhere special !
Pre dinner drinks with hors d’ouuvres. The cocktail hour is an excellent time to meet fellow guests. Hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and a wide range of wines, beer and spirits are available.
A la carte dinner – the menu changes nightly and features local produce, seafood and the best New Zealand lamb and beef.
Full breakfast – a buffet of local and imported fruits, cereals, yoghurts and freshly baked breads and muffins. In addition, a hot manu featuring eggs, french toast, pancakes, crisp bacon, ham and sausages may be ordered.

Enjoy a great variety of natural wonders. There are some beautiful walks on the 6000 acre property ranging from a 10 minute bush walk which takes in the magnificent 700 – 900 year old Kauri tree, to a two hour walk that includes a visit to the waterfall. To date, over 285,000 native plants have been planted on the property. There are some magical spots to visit such as Waiaua Beach, which is the widest beach and is covered with fine white sand. The beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and fishing. There are tiny offshore islands close enough to explore. See the magnificent Kauri tree, estimated to be between 700 to 900 years old. Wander to the waterfall, nestled amongst vast farmland and native bush. This large cascading waterfall provides a beautiful and picturesque setting superb for a picnic. Pink Beach is the perfect place for shelling and picnicking. The beach is composed of minute pink shells and is surrounded by magnificent pohutukawa trees. See the spectacular surf at Little Takou. this wide sandy beach is cut out of a steep green hillside and the overall effect is dazzling. Adjacent, is the beautiful and longer Big Takou.
