The package includes accommodation in 4 and 5 star quality hotels. These include a hotel frequented by famous writers, a unique palace built for the Kings of Portugal in 1885, an elegant XVIIIth century residence built on the river banks of the Minho River, a beautifully restored monastery, now a “pousada”. All hotels have modern conveniences, all have been personally selected. These wonderfully characteristic hotels are situated in historic centres and in a national forest. Also included are all breakfasts, daily dining in typical restaurants tasting local cuisine and wines, luxury transport by coach, all luggage handling, gratuities, entry fees, professiona guides and transfers – as described in the detailed itinerary.
